The client contacted us regarding piling work for 3 new build houses and garages in the Blackpool area as the site ground conditions were very poor. We quite often find that piling is required in Blackpool due to the soft ground conditions especially with being near the coast. We communicated with the client effectively regarding the project and the client’s structural engineer’s drawings were received.

A quotation was then provided using the client’s engineers design and the client accepted. After a site inspection we confirmed with the client how we would like the site to be prepared ready for our arrival. Health and Safety RAMS were sent to the client once a date was set alongside a confirmation of services.

In just 9.5 days the project was completed!

Within those 9.5 days 96 x 150mm piles were installed to a depth of 6-7m, piles cut down to required level, trenches were cleaned out and made level and 230lm of ring beam were installed. The building inspector gave their approval and installation of concrete was then poured to the required level using 2x 24m boom pumps. The site was then left clean and tidy. On completion our office sent the pile logs and insurance certificate for the works that had been completed.
